Some Halloween Drink Ideas..
I am throwing a 21 and over Halloween party on Friday October 31. There will be drinking involved, lots of cute Halloween decorations, and plenty of snacks. I thinking my drink theme will be red drinks for “Blood drinks” and then there will be come black and orange stuff as well. To begin since I am being a True Blood character, I want to order some of the new blood orange True Blood drink that is available. It supposed to be like the synthetic blood vampires drink on the show. Also, orange soda is a must for Halloween. It can be mixed with plain or orange flavored vodka. I would use regular and diet coke as the “black.” So many people have different alcohol preferences I plan on putting the True Blood cans on the counter in a cute set-up, with the orange and black soda in clear cute Halloween pitchers. I then will have a bottle of orange vodka, plain vodka, rum, and whiskey in a bar-like set-up at the drink station at my party. This way people can have just soda, or alcoholic beverages to their liking. I also have tried this alcoholic drink that involves sherbet for ice around Christmas time but I have figured out an adaptation for Halloween. Take a 2 liter bottle of lime soda, a 2 liter bottle of fruit punch, then add 1 cup of vodka (or add as much as you would like your guests to have), stir and then scoop in several scoops of orange sherbet. This is a delicious drink your party goers will love! Another cute idea is for Jello-shot put Halloween gummies in them such as little spiders or chewy eyeballs and an extra treat to chew on when taking the shot. Finally disinfect the little black plastic spiders and freeze them in ice cubes for the soda drinks. Just make sure guests know not to eat them!
Good Luck!
